From the shock-resistant watch "G-SHOCK," three models in the "MANEKINEKO" series are set to be released on Saturday, January 11, 2020. These watches are inspired by the Maneki-neko, a beloved lucky charm that has long been cherished for inviting good fortune, and incorporate the colors red for the collar, green for the apron, and gold for the bell.

The G-SHOCK "MANEKINEKO" series, featuring the Maneki-neko design said to bring happiness and financial luck, will be released on Saturday, January 11, 2020. The lineup includes three models themed around white, black, and gold Maneki-neko. Each watch incorporates the colors of the Maneki-neko's collar (red), apron (green), and bell (gold), with a subtly die-cut cat shape on the watch band, creating a design that overflows with the charm of the lucky cat.

The "DW-5600TMN" uses the square-shaped "DW-5600" as its base model, inheriting the design of the very first G-SHOCK. It features a subtle illustration of a golden koban coin on the face, and a Maneki-neko appears when the backlight is activated, scattering lucky motifs throughout the watch. Two color variations are available: one with a simple design expressing white and black Maneki-neko, and another with a pop design that incorporates the red of the collar and green of the apron into the white fur of the Maneki-neko.

The "GA-100TMN-1AJR," themed around a golden Maneki-neko, uses the digital-analog combination model "GA-100" as its base. The entire dial is adorned with a golden koban pattern, and the small hands on the subdials feature a charming cat motif, creating a gorgeous and festive model.

These three models come with special packaging featuring a Maneki-neko illustration. The illustration and design of the packaging were created by "BlackEyePatch," a Tokyo-based label known for its diverse work ranging from graffiti to apparel. The Maneki-neko, a uniquely Japanese lucky charm, is depicted in a cool style, offering a special model that fully embodies Japanese culture.
