To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Seiko Marine Master Professional 1986 Quartz Divers, a limited edition model that further enhances its perfection as a professional tool has been released in a limited quantity of 1,200 units.

Since its debut in 1965 as Japan's first dive watch, Seiko's dive watches have consistently introduced products equipped with unique technologies, earning high praise and trust from professional divers and adventurers worldwide.

The Seiko 1000m saturation diving quartz diver's watch, first released in 1986, was a highly reliable model that pioneered the use of ceramic for its outer protective shroud, combined with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium case and a monobloc structure without a separate case back.

Now, in 2021, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of this model's birth, a limited edition designed for divers challenging the unknown depths of the ocean, with further enhanced professional tool capabilities, is being released.

The iconic Seiko-original outer shroud structure combines a monobloc titanium case, which ensures high airtightness without a separate case back, with a zirconia ceramic outer shroud. It offers 1000m saturation diving water resistance and high durability capable of withstanding impact.

The movement is equipped with the high-torque quartz Caliber 7C46, specifically designed for dive watches, ensuring that the time can be reliably read with its thick hands even in deep-sea environments. The dial, primarily black and white for high legibility, features a gradient from blue to black from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock, evoking the diminishing light as one descends into the dark, mysterious ocean.

This model not only inherits the high specifications of the 1986 original, suitable for professional divers, but also incorporates enhancements for improved functionality. For divers, failing to properly screw down the crown is a critical issue, as it compromises water resistance and accurate timekeeping during a dive. To prevent this, an emergency yellow color is applied to the base of the crown to provide a visual cue when it is locked, and the screw-lock operation is also indicated on the top surface. Furthermore, the use of yellow on the outer shroud's fixing screws, the keeper, and the buckle enhances intuitive and stress-free safety checks before diving, further elevating its perfection as a professional tool.

The strap is made of reinforced silicone, offering excellent durability against degradation from seawater, sweat, and UV rays, as well as a soft feel for superior comfort. This strap, printed with "FOR SATURATION DIVING 1000m," is ideal for serious diving and comfortable for everyday wear. Additionally, a deep-sea-inspired blue-gray reinforced silicone strap is included.
