Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announces the release of the GM-5600RI20, the first collaboration model with professional golfer Ryo Ishikawa, on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. The new model is part of the shock-resistant watch brand "G-SHOCK."

Professional Golfer Ryo Ishikawa
Ryo Ishikawa has been a leading figure in Japanese men's golf since winning his first tour title at the young age of 15 years and 245 days, accumulating 17 tour victories to date. Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has maintained an official sponsorship agreement with Ishikawa since 2013, recognizing that his spirit of challenge in pursuing ambitious goals and expanding his career globally aligns with the company's corporate philosophy of creating new value worldwide.
The highly anticipated collaboration model with Ishikawa is the "GM-5600RI20." Embodying Ishikawa's strength and passion for golf, the band features his motto "Ichii Senshin," translated into English as "WITH HEART AND SOUL." The band loop is adorned with 17 stars, symbolizing the number of tour victories he has achieved.

The base model selected is the "GM-5600," characterized by its silver metal bezel and square face. Ishikawa's signature is engraved on the case back, and a playful touch is added with an illustration of a sun visor appearing when the EL backlight is illuminated.

Regarding the collaboration model, Ishikawa commented, "'Ichii Senshin' is a phrase I found in a Casio electronic dictionary when I was in high school, and it's a motto I've cherished ever since. It means to proceed on the path you believe in without being swayed, and to maintain a strong heart. I believe it resonates with the toughness of G-SHOCK, which has seen me through countless matches, and I hope it will reach everyone's hearts as well."
