A bold new creation, the Excalibur Spider Huracán Frosty White, has been released in a limited edition of 88 pieces worldwide from Lamborghini, the Italian supercar manufacturer, and ROGER DUBUIS, the Geneva-based luxury watchmaker. It features a striking frosty white case crafted from the brand's proprietary advanced material, Ceramic Composite Fiber (CCF), and a unique caliber housed within, reminiscent of an engine.

ROGER DUBUIS introduces the new Excalibur Spider Huracán Frosty White model. Crafted from Ceramic Composite Fiber (CCF), this model is distinguished by its eye-catching frosty white case. It is a timepiece that distills the astonishing mechanics, stylish design, and watchmaking craftsmanship of supercars, evolving the racing spirit of the Excalibur Huracán.

ROGER DUBUIS focused on the use of CCF material in the aerospace industry for rocket manufacturing and, after months of research, developed its own proprietary CCF material. Leveraging the technical prowess and new material development capabilities of ROGER DUBUIS, an independent manufacture, they combined durable ceramic fibers with resin to create a material that is 20% lighter than carbon and possesses a distinguished appearance akin to white marble. This ultra-lightweight material significantly enhances wearing comfort and maximizes design potential.

This 45mm CCF case houses the automatic RD630 caliber, masterfully blending performance and lightness, much like a supercar. It imbues the watch with the powerful visuals and distinctive design of the Lamborghini Huracán. For instance, the hexagonal dashboard, a signature motif of the Lamborghini Huracán, is echoed in the shape of the dial and caliber. Furthermore, the movement features a twin barrel and a balance wheel tilted at 12 degrees, reflecting the characteristics of Lamborghini Squadra Corse. Visible from the back, the 360-degree oscillating weight of this semi-skeletonized movement can be admired.

This oscillating weight replicates the speed effect and design of the Huracán's wheel rims. Additionally, elements such as the crown, inspired by the nuts used in supercar racing, and the bridges designed as strut bars atop the caliber, all evoke the V10 engine of the Lamborghini Huracán, while the enigmatic date display further symbolizes the watch's playful spirit.

The flange and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova™, ensuring they glow beautifully even at night. In another pursuit of unparalleled luminescence, Super-LumiNova™ is also applied to the watch's inclined surfaces and strut bars—an innovative technique first unveiled by ROGER DUBUIS in 2020. Similarly, through an enhanced process known as SuperBiwiNova®, Super-LumiNova™ is integrated into the interior of the strap with white luminescent rubber inlays, culminating in a watch of breathtaking finish.

The buckle and strap feature a quick-release system for easy interchangeability. The Excalibur Spider Huracán Frosty White, reflecting the DNA of Italian supercars and the Maison's exceptional watchmaking, is a timepiece meticulously crafted like an engine.
