G-SHOCK, the shock-resistant watch brand, will begin handling two collaboration models, the GBD-H1000BAR and GBD-100BAR, with "FC Barcelona MATCHDAY," a documentary program closely following the daily lives of FC Barcelona players, starting Friday, January 14, 2022.

The new G-SHOCK models, GBD-H1000BAR and GBD-100BAR, are based on the G-SQUAD sports line models GBD-H1000 and GBD-100. The bodies adopt FC Barcelona's team colors of navy and burgundy. The straps feature a design motif inspired by past uniforms, and the team slogan "Més que un club" (More than a club) in Catalan, the local language, is emblazoned on them.

The watch band features four stripes, characteristic of the Catalan flag, and comes with special packaging designed with the team colors. Furthermore, the GBD-H1000BAR features a vivid gold ion plating on the metal bezel, inspired by a championship trophy.

In terms of functionality, both models are equipped with an accelerometer that measures steps and distance. They also feature a mobile link function that connects via Bluetooth® to a smartphone, allowing users to manage life logs such as steps and calories burned, as well as activity history, by linking with a dedicated app.

Additionally, the GBD-H1000BAR includes a heart rate monitor and GPS functions. Both models feature a highly visible MIP display and a soft urethane band that offers both breathability and flexibility, making them tough watches that can be comfortably worn from daily use to workout sessions.
