The "GMW-B5000TB," the first model in the full-metal "5000" series to use lightweight titanium for its exterior, inheriting the form of the first G-SHOCK, will be newly added on Friday, November 8, 2019.

The "GMW-B5000TB," newly added to the 5000 series that inherits the design of the first G-SHOCK, is a square full-metal model that uses titanium for the first time in its main exterior parts, including the case, band, bezel, case back, and buttons. The use of titanium, which is lighter than stainless steel, achieves a 57-gram weight reduction compared to the previous model "GMW-B5000D" and improves wearability.

The design reproduces the first G-SHOCK, the "DW-5000C-1B." It features a highly airtight screw-lock case back and inherits the color scheme with gold lettering and lines accenting the black case. The surface of each metal part is treated with DLC for increased hardness. The dial uses an STN LCD for easy readability of the time even from an angle, and the crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire glass. In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a mobile link function that connects with smartphones, allowing for easy setting of time correction, world time, and other functions, providing high functionality and practicality.
