Jaeger-LeCoultre has announced the new limited edition model, the "Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date." It will be produced in a limited run of 800 pieces worldwide.

A Limited Model Paying Homage to the 1970 "Polaris II"

Following the success of the "JLC Polaris" collection unveiled at last year's SIHH (Geneva Salon), a special new model, the "Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date," has arrived.

The inspiration for this piece comes from the 1970 "Polaris II." It has been elevated to a special model through hand-applied lacquer finishing and a new dial treatment featuring a double blue gradient, sunray, grain, and opaline finish.

The central disc and main dial transition from a deep turquoise to a vibrant royal blue. A blue rubber Clous de Paris strap is also specially included, creating a color match with the inner bezel, which, like the original "Memovox Polaris" and "Polaris II," incorporates a rotating element.

Furthermore, the "Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date" retains the iconic appearance of the "JLC Polaris" collection, with its elongated Arabic numerals, trapezoidal hour markers, and baton hands, ensuring an instantly recognizable design. The homage to the aesthetic of the 1960s and '70s is achieved by incorporating vanilla pigment into the luminous material.

It is powered by an in-house automatic mechanical movement, and the case back is engraved with "1000 HOURS CONTROL," indicating that it has undergone 1000 hours of testing before shipment, along with the inscription "LIMITED EDITION" on the outer rim.
