Five Colors Including Swatch's Signature "Sistem Pink"
SISTEM51, a mechanical movement, saw four models announced in 2014. In homage to Swatch's 1983 quartz watch, also made with 51 parts, this series is also constructed from 51 components.
By fully automating production, SISTEM51 enables manufacturing with half the number of parts compared to traditional mechanical watch movements. It offers a power reserve of approximately 90 hours, and its sealed construction prevents contamination from dust and other foreign matter. Daily accuracy is within -10 to +10 seconds.
The five new models debuting as Version II include the colorful "Sistem Pink," featuring pink and yellow accents on a blue dial, and the vibrant "Sistem Green" with its striking green and orange contrast. A notable feature is the date display, positioned at either 3 or 6 o'clock.
All models are priced at ¥17,500, but this will change to ¥18,360 due to a price revision starting March 2nd.
