The World's Largest Exhibition, "Masters of Time," is Underway

DFS Group, the world's leading luxury travel retailer, is hosting "Masters of Time," one of the world's largest watch and jewelry exhibitions, now in its sixth year, until Saturday, February 28th in Macau.

First-Ever Jewelry Collection Featured in "Masters of Time"

The "Masters of Time" collection is part of the "DFS Masters Collection," alongside exhibitions and collections such as "Masters of Fragrance," announced at the start of the year in Abu Dhabi, and "Masters of Wine & Spirits," held in Singapore in November.

This year, over 400 exquisite watches and jewelry pieces from more than 40 renowned brands are on display and available for purchase to the public. The collection encapsulates the watches and jewelry meticulously selected by DFS Group from around the world over the course of a year. The 2014 watch collection highlights the latest designs and innovative technologies in watchmaking.

Among the watch brands, representative masterpieces from prestigious names such as Arnold & Son, Bulgari, Jaquet Droz, and Vacheron Constantin are exhibited.

Bulgari's signature piece, the "Octo Finissimo Tourbillon," features the world's thinnest tourbillon movement at just 1.95mm thick.

Challenging the limits of technology to miniaturize the tourbillon cage to fit this ultra-thin movement, they succeeded by specially developing a nine-part ball bearing system, significantly reducing the surface area required for the bridges.

The case of the "Octo Finissimo Tourbillon," with its hand-wound movement adorned with the finest decoration, is a 5mm thick platinum construction, embodying the utmost elegance and avant-garde spirit a watch can possess.

Both men's and ladies' watches offer a collection of breathtaking beauty, with each detail revealing the craftsmanship of its respective brand.

Furthermore, the first-ever jewelry collection at "Masters of Time" showcases Bulgari's "Diva Collection," characterized by feminine curves inspired by the intricate patterns of Roman mosaics, featuring necklaces, bracelets, and earrings crafted from 18K white gold and pavé diamonds. It also includes Chopard's high jewelry line, the "Red Carpet Collection," inspired by famous paintings, presenting jewelry collections that blend grace and nobility.

Notably, Bulgari's "Diva Collection" reflects Bulgari's sophisticated style, innovative forms, and spirit, exemplified by its polished gemstones, in each individual piece.

Modern sophistication merges with beautiful forms inspired by the complex mosaic patterns of ancient Rome, radiating timeless beauty and brilliance.

The fan-shaped design of the jewelry, which has become a symbol of the collection, also serves as an homage to the heritage that has woven Bulgari's history.
