A Toughness Watch Expressing the Enthusiasm and Pride of the Emergency Fire Response Team

The "GW-9400NFST" is a special collaboration model where the Emergency Fire Response Team and G-SHOCK meticulously detailed the coloring. The Emergency Fire Response Team is a system established in response to the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, enabling firefighters from across the country to conduct rescue activities quickly and efficiently beyond their jurisdictions during large-scale disasters. This collaboration with G-SHOCK, which shares the commonality of "toughness," was realized on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. The design was developed with the full cooperation of the Kobe City Fire Bureau and Sendai City Fire Bureau, representing the Emergency Fire Response Team.
The base color is black, used in the firefighting suits of the Sendai City Fire Bureau, with the red of fire trucks adopted as an accent color. Vivid yellow, reminiscent of the reflective material on firefighting suits, is used as an accent on the button ring at the 3 o'clock position and the "SENSOR" marking. The strap is a robust carbon fiber insert band formed in two colors, black on the outside and red on the inside, with an illustration of a rescue rope in the center.
The base model is the "Rangeman," designed for ultimate survival toughness, equipped with a triple sensor capable of measuring direction, barometric pressure/altitude, and temperature, in addition to high shock resistance. The watch's case back, keeper, LCD, and special packaging feature logos of the Emergency Fire Response Team and both fire bureaus, creating a model imbued with the passionate spirit and pride of the team members.
Regarding this collaboration, Ms. Megumi Sato, Chief of the General Affairs Division at the Sendai City Fire Bureau, commented, "The Emergency Fire Response Team is a symbol of the strong bond of firefighters. 'We want to continue to prepare for future disasters together with our colleagues nationwide, cherishing every minute and second.' This watch embodies such sentiments." Mr. Shigeru Kamiyama, Director of the General Affairs Department at the Kobe City Fire Bureau, stated, "We hope this will be an opportunity for many people to learn about the Emergency Fire Response Team system, which was established based on the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake."
