New "Red" Color Vividly Expressed on Metal: Introducing the G-SHOCK GMW-B5000RD-4JF
G-SHOCK has released the new GMW-B5000RD-4JF. Inheriting the DNA of the first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, this is a stylish, full-metal square model clad in a vibrant red.

A New Model Inheriting the First G-SHOCK's DNA, Dressed in the Brand Color "Red"
A new color has arrived for the GMW-B5000 series, the full-metal square model that inherits the genes of the original G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C. Based on the GMW-B5000D, with its stainless steel case and bracelet, this model expresses G-SHOCK's brand color, "red." To achieve a beautiful red on metal, a deep Bordeaux IP coating has been applied, realizing an unprecedentedly vivid metallic color.
A fine-resin cushioning material is sandwiched between the case and bezel, providing G-SHOCK's renowned shock resistance. Furthermore, the screw-back case features a substantial DLC treatment for enhanced abrasion resistance.
Additionally, it features a film solar cell and a clear STN-LCD (liquid crystal display) for easy readability of the time display even from oblique angles.
In terms of functionality, it incorporates smartphone link capabilities, Multi Band 6 for automatic time correction by receiving standard radio waves from six stations worldwide (two in Japan, China, USA, UK, Germany), world time for 5 cities, a high-luminosity full auto LED backlight (Super Illuminator, with 2-second/4-second afterglow time selection, fade-in/fade-out), and day of the week display in six languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian). This model fuses G-SHOCK's signature toughness with innovative features.
