G-SHOCK's New GBD-H1000 Features Heart Rate Monitor and GPS to Support Training and Health Checks
The GBD-H1000, a new model from the shock-resistant G-SHOCK line, is set to be available in late May 2020. It features a heart rate monitor and GPS functionality.

Manage Calorie Consumption and Travel Routes with a Dedicated App
The GBD-H1000 is equipped with an optical sensor capable of measuring heart rate by detecting changes in blood flow, a triple sensor for measuring direction, barometric pressure/altitude, and temperature, an acceleration sensor for measuring steps and distance traveled, and a GPS function for acquiring location information. In conjunction with a dedicated application, it analyzes data measured by these sensors to display indicators of cardiopulmonary capacity on the watch. The application allows users to manage historical data, including calorie consumption and travel routes.
The exterior features a high-definition, high-contrast MIP LCD for excellent visibility, a bezel shape designed for easy operation during exercise, large buttons with a non-slip texture, and a back cover and soft urethane band designed to minimize interference with the back of the hand, achieving outstanding fit and practical performance. In addition to USB charging, it also supports solar charging, enhancing its user-friendliness.
