TISSOT's vintage watch, the Tissot Porto, is revived after 100 years. All five models, featuring mechanical and quartz movements, retain their curved, classical aesthetic.

The "Tissot Porto" was born in 1919, amidst the Art Deco trend. Its name derives from Porto, a Portuguese port city renowned for its port wine trade, which was a major hub for European commerce and culture.

The design adopts a tonneau shape, which means a large wine barrel in French. Its distinctive form, crafted from smooth curves, evokes the sweet taste of port wine.

This year, marking the 100th anniversary of the "Tissot Porto's" creation, it has been revived as the "Tissot Heritage Porto."

Equipped with mechanical and quartz movements, the mechanical three-hand model, in particular, stands out for its elegance, with delicately balanced pear-shaped hands and Arabic numeral indices that exude a classical, radiant charm.

Furthermore, like the original "Tissot Porto," the small seconds subdial with a railway track minute ring is positioned inside the indices, enhancing the nostalgic atmosphere.

Despite its distinctive appearance, the tonneau case's perfect size and slender strap ensure a comfortable fit on the wrist. While offered as a men's model, its boyfriend size makes it a timepiece recommended for women seeking to add an accent to their style.

To commemorate the release of this model, customers purchasing the "Tissot Heritage Porto" by the end of December 2019 are eligible for a case back engraving service, featuring European lucky motifs and custom text (up to 10 characters).

The lucky motifs include owls and clovers, offering a playful European touch. Notably, exclusive engraving designs, available only at BEST ISHIDA, an authorized Tissot retailer, are also offered.
