The joyous news of the Olympics being held in Tokyo swept across Japan. OMEGA, already confirmed as the Official Timekeeper for the 2020 Games, will join the nation in celebrating the Tokyo Olympics.

Their 29th Olympic Assignment in Tokyo
Since its first role as Official Watch at the 1932 Los Angeles Games, OMEGA has served as the Official Timekeeper for more Olympic Games than any other brand. The Tokyo Games will mark its 29th appearance. In response to the decision to host the Games in Tokyo, the brand released a statement: "We are delighted to celebrate the selection of Tokyo with the people of Japan."
For the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the second time the city will host the Games, OMEGA timepieces will be used across all disciplines, including swimming, football, and athletics.
