Ambassador JUJU Also Performs Live

The "Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Music Fund," established last year with the aim of supporting and nurturing talented young musicians worldwide, has now expanded to Japan, following its launch in China and the UK.

The "Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Japan Music Fund" will provide scholarships to two current students at the Kunitachi College of Music and invite them to the Grammy Camp, held by the Grammy Foundation in Los Angeles in the summer of 2013, thereby supporting their rich talent.



Furthermore, as part of the Japan Music Fund's support, a special edition of the Interlocking Watch, featuring an iconic "G," has been released. This watch boasts a black dial with a striking pattern reminiscent of vinyl grooves, housed in a 29mm case. The case back is engraved with "Gucci Music Fund," and a portion of the proceeds from its sale will be donated to the music fund.

JUJU, the ambassador, appeared at the press conference wearing this special edition and performed with students from Kunitachi College of Music who study jazz. "When I lived in New York, I felt the stoicism of the local jazz musicians in their approach to music. It's wonderful that young musicians aspiring to be like them are given this special opportunity through Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry and the Grammy Foundation," she commented, offering her encouragement to the bright young talents.
