Breitling has released a capsule collection of "Navitimer 1 Airline Editions," unveiling models that commemorate Swissair, the former national airline of Switzerland, and the legendary American carrier Pan Am. Now, with the addition of the "Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 TWA Edition," an homage to Trans World Airlines, which traversed the skies worldwide for much of the 20th century, the collection is complete.

Breitling's "Navitimer 1 Airline Edition" capsule collection embodies the spirit of an era when commercial aviation experienced remarkable growth. It pays a heartfelt tribute to the airlines that symbolized the golden age of air travel from the 1960s to the 1970s.

The collection began with the Swissair Edition, followed by the Pan Am Edition. In January 2019, the "Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 TWA Edition" was introduced to honor Trans World Airlines, marking the collection's completion. This model features a stainless steel case paired with a silver dial and anthracite sub-dials. Its dynamic color scheme, inspired by TWA's distinctive livery, includes striking red accents against the silver dial, complemented by straight hour and minute hands. The watch is available with either a vintage-style brown leather strap or a stainless steel mesh bracelet.

The timepiece is powered by Breitling's in-house manufactured Caliber 01, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Like the previous capsule collections, the transparent sapphire case back is printed with the "TWA" logo.

Breitling CEO Georges Kern stated, "These airline editions in our new capsule collection will be produced in limited runs and quantities, but they will not feature serial numbers. This capsule collection was created with the aim of conveying unique stories rooted in the history of Breitling's core collections. This differs from limited editions, which typically refer to small-production models with serial numbers."
