A chic G-SHOCK styled with a black face and solid gold

A G-SHOCK, crafted from solid gold for its case, band, and even screws, was first unveiled as a concept model at Baselworld, the world's largest watch and jewelry fair held in Basel, Switzerland, in 2015.

Subsequently, as part of the "Dream Project," Kikuo Ibe, the developer of G-SHOCK, led the initiative to bring this concept model to production, based on the original "DW-5000" model. It will be released as the "Solid Gold G-SHOCK 'Dream Project Model,'" with a worldwide limited production of 35 pieces, made-to-order only.

G-SHOCK celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2018, releasing collaboration models with fashion brands, a model expressing glaciers in extreme cold regions with a clear skeleton, and a model inspired by the "magma ocean" at the time of Earth's formation using RG and YG. This "Solid Gold G-SHOCK 'Dream Project Model'" is truly a dream special model, befitting the final chapter of G-SHOCK's 35th anniversary.
