The "Fiftysix Tourbillon": Precision and Beauty in Every Detail

In September 2018, Vacheron Constantin unveiled the first tourbillon model in the "Fiftysix" collection. Its defining feature is a movement equipped with a 22K gold peripheral rotor, achieving a remarkable thinness of under 6mm. The tourbillon itself is a testament to time-consuming chamfering and finishing work, with exquisite decorative finishes applied to every surface, all visible through a transparent case back.

The "Fiftysix Tourbillon" pays homage to the "Reference 6073" born in 1956, inheriting elements such as the four-lug design, an interpretation of the brand's Maltese cross emblem, and a box-shaped sapphire crystal. The case's smooth curves, meticulously finished hands, and the opaline and sunburst dial decorations all contribute to a timepiece of exquisite precision and beauty.
