OMEGA's Railmaster collection welcomes a distinctive industrial model, inspired by the denim jeans worn by railway workers. While preserving the simple, elegant design and functionality of the original, this model has been updated for a modern aesthetic.

Denim Color: Perfect for Casual and Modern Styles

The original OMEGA Railmaster, launched in 1957, was developed for railway workers and technicians operating in environments with strong magnetic fields. In homage to that original model, the new "Railmaster Master Chronometer" draws inspiration from the denim favored by those workers of the era.

While denim is now widely embraced as a fashion item, its roots lie in the durable workwear produced for laborers in the American West. The Railmaster shares a deep connection with the denim and overalls that were daily attire for coal miners, factory workers, farmers, and railway employees.

The "Railmaster Master Chronometer" retains the iconic brushed dial found in contemporary Railmaster models, reimagined with a vibrant "Blue Jeans" dial inspired by denim. Indices and hands coated with light grey Super-LumiNova lend a vintage feel. The iconic lollipop seconds hand and the beige accents on the "Railmaster" text on the dial evoke the authentic stitching of denim, creating a unique finish.

The real blue denim NATO strap model features brown leather on the underside and keeper as an accent, making it ideal for casual wear. A stainless steel bracelet model, suitable for business settings, is also available.

While respecting the design of the first-generation Railmaster, this new model incorporates modern technology and details, such as a brushed, symmetrical 40mm stainless steel case and a conical crown.

This new release is powered by the Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. Boasting magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss—15 times that of the original Railmaster—this high-performance model is certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), the industry's highest standard.
