Appreciating the Unique Sheen and Evolving Texture of Bronze

Inspired by coins bearing imperial portraits from the Roman Empire, the original "Bulgari Bulgari" watch was first produced in 1975 as a gift for 100 VIP clients, and released as the "Bulgari Bulgari" collection in 1977.

More than 40 years later, the new "Bulgari Bulgari," still an icon of the brand, marks Bulgari's first use of bronze for its case material. Bronze is a material that allows one to enjoy the unique color changes that occur over time. The Latin word "Patina" signifies the charm and enjoyment of aging, a term perfectly suited to describe this bronze model.

Matteo Bocelli, the exceptionally talented Italian singer, embodies the new watch as a Bulgari ambassador. With a style characteristic of the Mediterranean region, Bocelli personifies the bold beauty that defines the classic Bulgari man. The new "Bulgari Bulgari" model, with its inherent patina, possesses a charm that allows each watch to age gracefully, like an antique.
