Since its founding in 1954, Jean Rousseau has supplied watch straps, crafted with traditional artisan techniques from carefully selected leather materials, to top-tier brands for over half a century. As one of the few manufacturers (integrated production) in the watch strap industry, they manage everything from tanning and dyeing to design, sewing, inspection, and after-sales service. The encounter between this traditional manufacturer's expertise and G-SHOCK has given birth to entirely new watches through unique customization.

Prior to the start of custom orders in Japan, a collaborative event featuring G-SHOCK, Colette (a Parisian select shop, now closed), and Jean Rousseau was held in Paris in 2017, selling original leather straps that sold out in a short period. Due to its popularity and positive reception, Japanese G-SHOCK fans had eagerly awaited domestic availability.

For custom orders in Japan, four types of leather materials are available: the finest alligator, known as the "jewel of leathers," along with shark, ostrich, and calf. Customize the G-SHOCK, renowned for its toughness, diverse functions, and wide range of case variations, with a handmade leather strap to create your own unique G-SHOCK.
