A Deep Hue, Like an Anchor Sun-Kissed by the Sea

Corum's iconic "Admiral" collection welcomes a new "Admiral AC-ONE 45 Chronograph," crafted with teak, the wood used for yacht decks.

Furthermore, it Features a Bronze Case That Develops Character Over Time

The "Admiral" collection, Corum's signature long-selling line, represents its hour indexes with international maritime signal flags. For the dial of this new model, deeply connected to the sea, natural teak—also used for yacht decks—was chosen.

Natural teak, prized for its beautiful grain and robust durability, is used in shipbuilding, furniture, and architecture. Currently, it is a precious and rare wood, difficult to obtain in Japan due to logging bans and import restrictions, now gracing the dial.

The case is made of bronze, which deepens in character and charm with the passage of time. Paired with a brown calfskin strap, its profound hue, reminiscent of an anchor weathered by the sea, conveys the presence of a historic vessel that has sailed many voyages.

Each teak dial is unique, with variations in color and nuance due to its natural origin and hand-finishing. This is a timepiece designed to be cherished, allowing its wearer to cultivate an even richer patina over years of use.
