Presents the "DW-5600YU"
To commemorate G-SHOCK's 35th anniversary, a collaboration with illustrator Yu Nagaba has been realized. The special model "DW-5600YU" will be released on Friday, March 2nd, at BEAMS T Harajuku.

A White Canvas for Nagaba's Vision of G-SHOCK
G-SHOCK reaches its 35th anniversary in April 2018. The "DW-5600YU" emerges to signify its essence and deep connection with the culture scene. For this model, Yu Nagaba, an illustrator active across magazines, advertisements, and collaborations with apparel brands, brings an unprecedented refined aesthetic to G-SHOCK's history.
The base is the "DW-5600," the original square-cased G-SHOCK. Taking the white G-SHOCK as a canvas, Nagaba's interpretation of "G-SHOCK" is depicted.
Notably, the functional text on the dial features a charming hand-drawn style. Additionally, the resin band incorporates stitching details reminiscent of leather bands, and the case back is adorned with a newly drawn illustration.
When the EL backlight illuminates, the message "HAVE A NICE DAY" appears, a wish from Nagaba to uplift the wearer's spirits each time they check the time.
The watch is filled with playful touches throughout.
To celebrate the release, a pop-up shop will also be held at BEAMS T Harajuku from Friday, March 2nd, to Sunday, March 11th. Limited collaboration merchandise, including T-shirts, socks, and pin badges, will also be available.
