Ultraman Seven's Silhouette Adorns the Automatic Rotor

Fortis, which has strengthened its connection to space by becoming the official equipment supplier for astronauts embarking on missions to the International Space Station (ISS), now joins forces with "Ultraman Seven." This iconic series, with its space theme, marks a significant milestone this year, celebrating exactly half a century since its broadcast premiere.

The new Fortis case, introduced in 2016, has been adopted, with design elements inspired by Ultraman Seven incorporated throughout Fortis's traditional style.

At the 6 o'clock position on the silver dial, the logo of the Terrestrial Defense Force - Ultra Guard (TDF-UG) is placed, while the familiar Ice Slugger is depicted on the seconds hand's 'hakama' (skirt).

The index at the '7' position is a red Arabic numeral, while the other indices are applied bar markers that glow blue in the dark. The 12 o'clock marker, hour, and minute hands are finished with Super-LumiNova, emitting a green glow in low light.



Furthermore, the rotor of the movement, visible through the exhibition case back, features Ultraman Seven's silhouette, playfully suggesting Ultraman Seven is winding the mainspring. The rotor is also engraved with the serial number.
