Following the release of four models in the new "Flieger" collection in 2020, Fortis introduces the "Flieger F-39 Midnight Blue" and "Flieger F-41 Midnight Blue" in 2021, marking a new milestone for its pilot's watch collection.

Among the world of pilot's watches, Fortis's "Flieger" is considered an iconic model. Since the first model was released in 1987, this series has formed the foundation of Fortis's collection. A functional pilot's tool with award-winning design, it has been continuously refined over the years, carrying on Fortis's tradition for over 30 years. The "Flieger" series, revamped in 2020, incorporates new design elements intended for professional use.

Following this, the 2021 new "Flieger Midnight Blue" models are available in two versions: 39mm and 41mm cases made from recycled stainless steel. They inherit the unique design elements common to the series, featuring the "synchro line" at 12 o'clock on the dial, the "brick track" applied indexes around the periphery, and a vertical hairline finish on the midnight blue dial accented by orange chronograph hands. The hour and minute hands, as well as the indexes, are treated with Super-LumiNova® for legibility in low light. With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, both models come standard with a blue-gray leather strap, handmade in Germany and processed using olive leaves – a sustainable material.

Fortis has declared that it will adopt recycled steel for its future new products, positioning itself as a manufacturer focused on sustainability.
