The "Spacematic" is considered an epoch-making presence in FORTIS's history. It is also known that in the 1960s, the crew of the American Gemini space project wore the "Spacematic 'ar' (all risks)," one of its early models.

In the 2000s, it grew to become FORTIS's representative model. As an entry-level watch with excellent legibility, its simple design has earned high praise.

The 2017 models feature large white indices at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock on a black dial. They pursue an even more stylish design and high legibility than before.

This model comes in two variations, differing in case finishing: the satin-finished "Steel" and the black PVD-finished "Stealth." In addition to nylon straps, calfskin straps with a special mesh-like processing add nuance to the simple aesthetic.
