The smooth, long curves expressing waves are meticulously carved, repeating the engraving process two to three times to ensure a consistent thickness. Carving long curves by hand requires exceptional skill, and creating lines of uniform thickness on a bombé dial (a dial with a curved surface) is truly a master craftsman's feat. Furthermore, between the waves, a delicate stippling technique creates a matte, frosted finish, expressing subtle depth.

The dots representing bubbles floating on the sea are carved using a fine, cone-shaped drill. The angle is carefully adjusted so that the light reflecting off the dots is beautifully rendered.

The star engraving, evoking a night sky, is formed by combining two lines into one, demanding highly advanced techniques to match the thickness and angle where the lines connect. The resulting sparkle of the engraved lines is the undeniable charm of hand-engraving. This brilliance offers a depth of character distinct from the sparkle of gemstones, a true testament to the artisan's skill.

The 11 hour markers on the dial are set with blue sapphires, known for their soft blue hue. Their sparkle enhances the engraved patterns on the silver-toned dial while imparting a gentle impression. The crown is designed with the "droplet" motif, an icon of the Linealx series, and is strikingly accented with a blue sapphire.
