From SEIKO, a brand that has consistently pursued the founder Kintaro Hattori's philosophy of "always staying one step ahead of the times" through relentless innovation, comes a limited edition model that faithfully reproduces the design of the first wristwatch to bear the "SEIKO" name in 1924, commemorating its 100th anniversary.

The "SEIKO Brand 100th Anniversary <SEIKO Presage> Kintaro Hattori Limited Edition" is a special model that pays homage to the first wristwatch to bear the SEIKO name, recreating its design from that era.

The rounded case, reminiscent of a pocket watch, is combined with a thin, large crown, evoking the nostalgic atmosphere of the original.

The enamel dial, also featured on the original model, has been recreated for the modern era by master enameler Mitsuru Yokosawa. Each dial, crafted individually by Mr. Yokosawa's skilled hands, is characterized by the lustrous sheen and warm texture unique to enamel, ensuring its beauty remains unfading.

Nostalgically shaped hands and Arabic numerals, appearing as if drawn with a brush generously loaded with ink, adorn the dial. The newly developed Caliber 6R5H enables the layout of the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position, faithfully reproducing the original design.

The "SEIKO" logo has also been revived in its original typeface. Furthermore, the strap is a "pull-through" style, common at the time, which meets modern quality standards, and the logo is engraved on both the buckle and the underside of the strap.

The case back and crown are marked with the "round square S mark," a trademark registered by Kintaro in 1900. Around the mark on the case back, the English translation of Kintaro's motto, "ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE REST," and "KINTARO HATTORI" are inscribed.

This timepiece comes in a special presentation box containing a unique pin badge featuring the same round square S mark as the case back. It is offered as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces worldwide (300 of which are for the domestic Japanese market).
