Louis Vuitton, whose roots lie in travel, has always proposed the "Art of Travel" through various items, from trunks and bags to accessories and guidebooks. The Maison's first smartwatch, the "Tambour Horizon," is a timepiece for the modern traveler.

The "Tambour Horizon" is the "Tambour," Louis Vuitton's iconic timepiece born in 2002, reimagined with Google's Android OS. Its compact 42mm case is available with bezels in graphite, monogram, and black. With 30 men's and 30 women's strap options, a wide variety of strap and dial combinations can be enjoyed.

Louis Vuitton describes the "Tambour Horizon" as allowing users to "embark on a journey of creation on their wrist." It enables users to customize watch faces and personalize their experience, while also featuring unique travel-specific functions.

Among these, "My Flight" is a function not found on other smartwatches. It provides flight times, terminal and gate information, delay notifications, and remaining flight duration.

Another unique function, "City Guide," is a service linked to Louis Vuitton's curated city guide apps for tablets and smartphones. It allows users to access information on landmarks and points of interest in seven major global cities. Furthermore, the "Tambour Horizon" connects with its GPS function to provide real-time notifications for nearby restaurants, hotels, historical sites, and tourist attractions.

Additionally, the "GMT" function, indicated by the 24-hour display around the dial's edge, allows for easy display of the time in major cities worldwide, even when traveling across time zones.

Other features include notifications for incoming calls, text messages, and emails, as well as alarms, countdown timers, weather information, and a pedometer – all standard for a connected watch. These functions provide users with essential information not only for travel but also for daily life.
