Featuring the World's Largest Collection
Located on the 1st floor of "GINZA SIX" in Tokyo's Ginza district, the CITIZEN FLAGSHIP STORE TOKYO spans approximately 300 square meters, incorporating an event space and a repair workshop. With its extensive product lineup and services, visitors can immerse themselves in the allure of the Citizen Watch Group.
Furthermore, a comprehensive touch-and-try corner allows users to freely "see," "touch," and "experience" the watches.
Brand specialists are always on hand to propose suitable models from the lineup, while watch technicians in the repair workshop offer maintenance consultations.
Limited Edition Items to Commemorate the Flagship Store Opening
To celebrate the opening of the flagship store, CITIZEN will release a limited edition set of the "Eco-Drive One," a model symbolizing CITIZEN's present, and a limited edition "CAMPANOLA" model that combines Japanese traditional lacquerware with a mechanical movement from the Swiss company "La Joux-Perret SA."
The "Eco-Drive One" is the world's thinnest light-powered watch, featuring a 1.00mm thin movement housed in a 2.98mm (design value) case. Nearly all parts were newly developed to achieve this remarkable thinness. Thanks to CITIZEN's long-standing efforts in low power consumption, this light-powered Eco-Drive watch can run for 12 months on a full charge.
The flagship store limited edition comes with an interchangeable strap made of lustrous and elegant Teju leather. It is presented in a special lacquered box and is limited to five sets.
Meanwhile, "CAMPANOLA" has developed models with a three-dimensional appearance, embodying the design concept of "the beauty of the cosmos" by leveraging advanced technology and traditional craftsmanship. The limited edition model combines lacquerware with a La Joux-Perret SA movement, embodying the fusion of Japanese and Swiss craftsmanship.
Inspired by the Ginza streetscape during the Meiji era, when buildings blending Japanese and Western styles lined the streets, the watch incorporates a contrast of colors such as gold, white, and black. Layers of black lacquer are applied, followed by fine gold powder, and then a thin coat of black lacquer. This is meticulously polished to create a subdued luster.
As all processes for creating the dial are done by hand, each of the limited 20 pieces is unique, further enhancing its exclusivity.
