Two Models Evoking the World of Aviation

For the 2017 pre-Baselworld collection, Bell & Ross introduced the "BR 03-92 Holograph" and "BR 03-92 Holoramm."

They follow the brand's signature "square case with a round dial" style, designed in line with the philosophy that "form follows function." This embodies the Bauhaus design principle, characterized by numerous right angles and simple lines.

The "BR 03-92 Holograph" features graphic indexes reminiscent of airport terminal clocks. The model name is a combination of "Horo," derived from the Latin word "Hora" (time), and "Graph" (graphics).

The case is crafted from steel with a matte, micro-blasted finish, exuding a robust and unpretentious aura. The surface is treated with tiny glass beads, resulting in a textured finish and a pure gray hue.

This series' first matte finish prevents glare from sunlight, enhancing the graphical appearance while also improving practicality.

Furthermore, the dial ensures excellent legibility with baton-shaped indexes and hands. While incorporating a classic style, the black and white contrast makes reading the time effortless.


Meanwhile, the "BR 03-92 Holoramm" is inspired by the runway lighting codes that guide pilots day and night. The name "Holoramm" is derived from "Horo" and "Lum," from the Latin word "Lumen" (light), and is a special model limited to 500 pieces worldwide.

The case evokes the early BR 01 models, with a striking sense of purity. The micro-blasted steel case, similar to the "Holograph," enhances its presence.

The dial is also made of micro-blasted rhodium-plated copper, creating a cohesive look with the case. It features a sandwich construction with two metal plates; the upper gray plate is cut out for the numerals and indexes, while the lower plate is coated with Superluminova® C3.

This is a greenish, highly phosphorescent material that offers long-lasting luminescence. Only the numerals 12, 3, 6, and 9 are displayed, recreating the brand's traditional design codes.
