Radically Novel Vintage Design

Jaeger-LeCoultre was the first to equip a practical mechanical watch with an alarm function with an automatic winding mechanism. This was in 1956.

Since then, the "Memovox" has enjoyed immense popularity, receiving numerous design treatments. For this anniversary model, the design source was the "Snowdrop," as it was commonly known, released in 1971.

Operating the alarm is remarkably simple. Pulling the crown at 2 o'clock to the first position allows for easy setting. Pulling it further to the second position sets the alarm time. The crown at 4 o'clock is used for winding the mainspring and adjusting the time.

The strap is made of a deep blue cotton braid called "Trieste." Elegant stitching in clear blue thread is meticulously applied.

This new Master Memovox Boutique Edition is available at all Jaeger-LeCoultre directly managed boutiques worldwide. In-store, staff are eager to share the Maison's history and the evolution of its collections, inspired by this model. In Japan, the direct boutique on Ginza Namiki-dori opened on November 9, 2016. The model is also available at the Isetan Shinjuku Boutique and the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Boutique.
