A New Watch Adorned with a "Skull"

The "BR 01 Burning Skull" from Bell & Ross is a new watch with tattoo motifs engraved across its entire case. This unique technique further enhances the model's presence.

Case Engraved with Tattoo Artistry

Following the original "BR 01 Skull" model released in 2009 and the "BR 01 Skull Bronze" from 2015, the "BR 01 Burning Skull" now arrives. The skull, a veritable icon of Bell & Ross, is reborn with an even more impactful design.

The highlight is the unparalleled finish achieved through tattoo artistry. Its rich, intricate graphics evoke "hellfire" and merge with motifs symbolizing fate and death: a "heart," "rose," "scythe," and "hourglass."

To complete these designs, each line is meticulously engraved by hand by tattoo artists using a stylus and black lacquer ink.

During the process, the lacquer is intermittently heated in an oven to ensure it sets firmly. The contrast created by the black lacquer makes the tattoo graphics stand out.

The skull at the center of the tattoo decoration is given a three-dimensional emphasis through a two-layered dial. The skull is crafted using metal stamping, a technique traditionally employed in the production of coins and medals, resulting in a genuine relief.

The black Super-LumiNova coating on the dial's base enhances the skull's presence even in darkness.
