RALF TECH | The Arrival in Japan
A Limited Edition of 10, Inspired by Submarine Interiors
It's not surprising if you haven't heard of the brand Ralf Tech. It's a new Swiss brand that has never been available in Japan until now. The founder is a former French Marine special forces diver, and its core collection consists of authentic dive watches. Now, Ralf Tech, a brand dedicated to such niche watchmaking, has landed in Japan.

Former Professional Diver Channels His Experience into Watchmaking
Ralf Tech was founded in 1998 by Franck Fahy, a former French naval officer who served in the Marine special forces. Though its history is short, its substance is incredibly rich. Reflecting the founder's career, the core of its collection is dive watches.
In July 2005, Fahy himself wore the first model, the "WR1," and achieved a world diving record of 330 meters off the coast of Corsica. Since 2011, the current flagship model, the "WRX," has been adopted as the watch awarded as a diploma to graduates of the French National School of Divers, and it is also officially used by the French Gendarmerie (GIGN), as well as the marine special forces of France, the United Kingdom, and Portugal.
This is a genuine military dive watch brand, with a lineup of watches that comply with the international dive watch standard ISO6425. Due to their high specifications, they are also seen in many sporting scenes, such as yachting and motorsports.
This authentic brand, based in Le Locle, Switzerland, has finally arrived in Japan, accompanied by a special limited edition.
The "La Manufacture Torpilleur" is a model created based on Fahy's own valuable diving experiences. The model name "Torpilleur" means "torpedo," and it is inspired by the interior of the Spanish submarine C30, which he and a partner discovered in February 2003 off the Strait of Gibraltar. This submarine, which sank in 1936, retains its interior from that era, and the design is based on Fahy's vivid memories.
The dial is deeply and three-dimensionally constructed, with parts reminiscent of submarine structural materials, a small seconds sub-dial like a meter, and hour and minute hands like operating levers. The indices also resemble screws, evoking the mechanical interior of a submarine. It is powered by the automatic manufacture movement, Calibre Ralf Tech 63, which offers a 50-hour power reserve and boasts a beautiful finish.
This is a rare piece, limited to just 10 units worldwide, that vividly expresses the founder's dedication to dive watches and the brand's concept, making it the perfect watch to celebrate its arrival in Japan.
