New Releases from Over 50 Global Watch Brands on Display
The theme for the 2015 Mitsukoshi World Watch Fair is "Enduring Time." In an era where countless items emerge and disappear, this fair celebrates luxury watch brands and independent watchmakers who challenge new craftsmanship while preserving history and tradition. The venue will showcase new releases from over 50 acclaimed brands, unveiled at this year's Baselworld, SIHH (Geneva Salon), and WPHH in Switzerland.
Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store celebrates its 55th anniversary. Special limited editions born from a collaboration between a Japanese watchmaker and a Japanese creator, inspired by the store's iconic "Maiden of the Sea" statue (representing sincerity), will be available, alongside Mitsukoshi-exclusive pre-release and pre-order items, and items available only at Mitsukoshi.
The event also features a permanent exhibition of historical timepieces from Zenith, the prestigious Swiss brand celebrating its 150th anniversary, alongside engaging activities such as talk shows by independent watchmakers and live demonstrations and order sessions with engravers.
