A new Chronofighter limited edition model featuring a skull boldly etched onto the sapphire crystal.

Swiss luxury watchmaker Graham has unveiled its new 2019 model, the Chronofighter Grand Vintage Limited. Three designs will be released in August 2019, each in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

Graham was founded in 1995 by Eric Roty, carrying on the spirit of George Graham, known as the "father of the chronograph."

The signature Chronofighter model, born from Roty's philosophy of "NOT EVERYBODY'S WATCH (a watch for connoisseurs)," is characterized by its distinctive oversized trigger-shaped push-button on the left side. This system was developed for bomber pilots during World War II who wore thick, insulated mittens.

This philosophy of "a watch for connoisseurs" is fully realized in the new creation. A skull design is laser-etched onto the interior of the domed sapphire crystal, a material known for its hardness and difficulty to work with.

The atelier has newly introduced equipment for cutting sapphire crystal, which is used to bring the skull design to life. Furthermore, if the sapphire crystal of a Chronofighter Grand Vintage Limited is broken within 24 months of purchase, the crystal will be replaced free of charge.
