Oscar-winning Actor Eddie Redmayne Appointed OMEGA Ambassador

Eddie Redmayne, the most dynamic young actor of the moment, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2015, has been appointed an OMEGA Ambassador. He was officially appointed at a gala dinner held at Quaglino’s, a restaurant in London’s upscale Mayfair district.

Joining the Prestigious OMEGA Family

Eddie Redmayne received numerous accolades, including the 2015 Academy Award for Best Actor, for his starring role as Stephen Hawking in the biographical film "The Theory of Everything." He is a highly regarded British actor known for his compelling performances.
He joins the distinguished roster of OMEGA ambassadors, which includes George Clooney, Daniel Craig, and Nicole Kidman.

President Stephen Urquhart explains the reason for Redmayne's appointment:

Eddie Redmayne, a long-time admirer of OMEGA, appeared at the ambassadorial gala wearing the "Constellation Globemaster."

The gala was attended by numerous celebrities, including British actors such as Chiwetel Ejiofor, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for "12 Years a Slave," and Dan Stevens, known for his role in the hit drama "Downton Abbey," as well as international stars. A musical performance was also held to celebrate the appointment.
