The energetic new "Excalibur Spider Pirelli" has been unveiled, a collaboration between Roger Dubuis, a serial innovator, and Pirelli, a pioneer in motorsports. It features Roger Dubuis' first automatic skeleton calibre, with straps, crowns, and bezels that can be exchanged with a single click. The straps incorporate an exclusive inlay made from the rubber of actual winning tires from motorsport races.

The new "Excalibur Spider Pirelli" is Roger Dubuis' first multi-functional hyper-horological timepiece. Through the partnership between Roger Dubuis and Pirelli, superior engineering from different industries has merged to create this latest model, featuring an iconic calibre and interchangeable straps incorporating rubber inlays from certified Pirelli racing tires.

Particularly noteworthy is the quick-release system, allowing for rapid exchange of straps, crowns, and even bezels with a single click. Enhanced with innovative locking technology alongside high customizability, this system provides a precise click sensation, ensuring components snap into their correct positions.

On the dial, the calibre incorporating Roger Dubuis' first automatic skeleton and the distinctive star-shaped automatic movement are captivating. The micro-rotor, the smallest of its kind, is positioned at 11 o'clock, allowing for smoother rotation with arm movements. The perfect weight balance for winding the RD820SQ calibre is achieved using innovative materials like DLC-coated titanium, which is lighter and more luxurious than stainless steel. Manufacturing requires hundreds of hours, with one-third dedicated to finishing and decoration, guaranteed by the prestigious Geneva Seal. All components are meticulously hand-finished within the Roger Dubuis manufacture in Geneva. The power reserve is 60 hours. This timepiece, a product of astonishing mechanics and engineering, embodies the Maison's bold watchmaking prowess.

This model comes with three strap kits in characteristic Pirelli colors: blue, red, and white. The straps, designed with racing codes, feature an inlay made from the rubber of winning motorsport tires. Furthermore, the pattern of the Pirelli Cinturato™ Intermediate is reproduced on the inside.
