The Venue Embodies the World of Égérie

The newly released "Égérie" collection of women's watches. This feminine collection is where the worlds of haute couture and haute horlogerie meet and are sublimated.
The Vacheron Constantin Ginza boutique has been transformed into a space that expresses the world of Égérie for this exhibition, showcasing ten carefully selected women's models from the Maison's private heritage collection.
The relationship between women and watches is a long one. Before wristwatches became popular in the early 20th century, it was women who enjoyed wearing watches on their wrists. Many of these were cherished as jewelry.
Vacheron Constantin began creating watches for women early on, using gemstones and elaborate embellishments. Whether functional or ceremonial, jewelry watches or sports watches, the Maison has consistently incorporated artistic trends, responding to the attire and trends of the era, changes in women's social status, and even their sentiments.
The exhibition, which offers a glimpse into the Maison's two-century history through its timepieces for women, presents watches suited for occasions such as gala dinners, afternoon tea, and cocktail parties.
Visitors can experience the timeless beauty and the essence of the Maison through pieces such as a delicate pocket watch adorned with intricate engraving and gemstones, first created by Vacheron Constantin in 1815, and a magnificent Art Nouveau watch from 1918, lavishly set with diamonds.
