OMEGA, under the brand logo of the Greek letter "Ω" meaning "ultimate," is a prestigious maison that has led the Swiss watch industry since its founding in 1848 with its tradition and technical prowess. This year's Basel Fair saw the unveiling of a comprehensive collection of new models befitting its status.

This year's OMEGA novelties are as impressive as last year's. Attractive models have been introduced from each line: "Constellation," "Speedmaster," "Seamaster," and "De Ville."
A major theme this year is the adoption of special materials, symbolized by the "Orange Gold" case material of the "Seamaster Aqua Terra XXL." For example, the "Speedmaster Professional" features limited edition models with dials made from "meteorite," as well as models with dials made from "aventurine," a semi-precious stone that sparkles and is often used in jewelry.
Meanwhile, although not special in terms of material, the ladies' "Speedmaster" ChronographChronographalso sees various models enhanced with upgraded details. For instance, on the ladies' model, the dial indexes, which were previously printed, are now applied, representing a significant appeal this year.
OMEGA's conscientious attention to detail, consistently leading the watch industry with innovations like the durable, next-generation "Co-Axial Escapement" mechanism, is a commitment they have once again demonstrated this year.
