PROMASTER: Inheriting the Name of the Legendary First Model
First released 25 years ago in 1989, the "Altichron," now a legendary altimeter-equipped watch, is revived for the modern era. The sensor's measurement range extends from an altitude of 10,000 meters down to 300 meters below sea level. It offers new possibilities for users brimming with a challenging spirit.

The Altichron, Again
The "PROMASTER" series, which saw its first model born in 1989, became a staple of heavy-duty sports watches with its tough, sporty design and advanced functions incorporating various sensors. This series, supported worldwide for its exceptional quality and reliability, continues to evolve, notably with the introduction of Eco-Drive models that require no battery changes.
This "PROMASTER Eco-Drive ALTICHRON -CIRRUS" is the first model in the reborn "PROMASTER" series, which is set to become CITIZEN's new flagship line, alongside the "PROMASTER Eco-Drive SATELLITE WAVE-AIR" announced concurrently.
The "Altichron" is the name of the model with an altimeter function that was particularly popular within the first collection launched in 1989. In addition to the 100-meter increment altimeter function featured in this legendary model, it now also includes an electronic compass. The design motif is Earth viewed from the sky at 10,000 meters. It is the perfect timepiece for those who enjoy sports, especially mountaineering and sky sports.
