New Rose Gold Material "Sedna Gold"

Among gold materials, rose gold, with its strong reddish hue achieved by blending copper with gold, is a popular choice for the case material of luxury watches among both men and women. However, this rose gold material can sometimes change color over time. The Swatch Group has solved this problem with an innovative material.

This patented material, named "Sedna Gold," contains over 75% gold while incorporating palladium, resulting in a completely new rose gold that maintains its beautiful, warm luster without the aging discoloration seen previously.

The new "Constellation Sedna" is a premium dress watch that for the first time uses this new rose gold material for its case. In commemoration of 1952, the year the Constellation was born, it will be produced in a limited edition of only 1952 pieces worldwide.
