The black ceramic Speedmaster “Dark Side of the Moon”Baselworlddebuted at Baselworld. Unlike the legendary original “Moonwatch,” it features two sub-dials dyed black.

Expressing the pitch-black cosmos in zirconia-based ceramic

The “Speedmaster Moonwatch Dark Side of the Moon” is a new release in the iconic Speedmaster line, a mechanical chronograph designed with the “dark side of the moon” in mind – the side that never sees the sun.

The case and dial are made of zirconia-based ceramic. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock displays small seconds, and the sub-dial at 9 o’clock shows the chronograph’s elapsed time, both with two hands for clear readability, much like the watch’s main time display.

Furthermore, the words “Dark Side of the Moon” are engraved on the sapphire crystal case back. It houses the in-house Calibre 9300 movement, equipped with the silicon balance spring “Si14.” As with other models, it comes with an extended four-year warranty.
