The "Seamaster Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss" is a new model equipped with a movement developed jointly by OMEGA and its partners ETA, ASULAB, and Nivarox, utilizing a non-ferrous material called "Nivachron."

The movement's main plate, gears, and their arbors are crafted from materials harder and less prone to magnetization than iron, enabling it to withstand magnetic fields exceeding 1.5 Tesla (15,000 Gauss) – the most powerful magnetic resistance currently found in wristwatches.

Furthermore, the balance spring of the Co-Axial escapement is made from a non-magnetic, silicon-based material. This makes it an ideal choice for medical engineers, doctors, and researchers who work near equipment emitting strong magnetic fields, such as MRI machines.
