BreguetThe new Classic 5277 is equipped with the Calibre 515DR, jointly developed by Breguet and its sister company Nivarox. This extends the power reserve from the previous 75 hours to 96 hours, enhancing the practicality of Breguet's classic model.

An Ecological Mainspring

The Classic 5277, while maintaining the same case and barrel size as before, achieves a 96-hour long reserve through a new material mainspring developed by the Swatch Group and Nivarox, along with Breguet's proprietary barrel design. This is Breguet's standard model.

Furthermore, this new stainless steel-like mainspring material is notable for containing no cobalt or beryllium, and for being resistant to magnetism and rust. The escapement mechanism employs a silicon balance spring and an in-line Swiss lever escapement.
