The BLACK BAY BRONZE, which won the "PETITE AIGUILLE" award at the 2016 Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix, now features a new model with a slate grey gradient dial. This watch, originally released in 2016, has been updated with a new color option.

A Tough Diver's Watch with a Modern Aura

While the "BLACK BAY BRONZE" released in 2016 featured a chocolate brown dial, TUDOR has introduced a new model that combines bronze with a slate grey dial and bezel, focusing on the rich patina that develops on bronze as a new design challenge.

A hallmark of the "BLACK BAY BRONZE" is its bronze case, inspired by historical ships and diving equipment. Bronze is a high-quality, "living" material resistant to corrosion, once used in naval equipment. It develops a patina over time, reflecting the wearer's lifestyle and the passage of years. The satin finish on the bronze case allows for the development of a beautiful patina through aging. The slate grey gradient dial, accented with gold hour markers and Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, further enhances its vintage appeal.

The Manufacture Calibre MT5601 powering this "BLACK BAY BRONZE" is the largest in TUDOR's movement lineup, measuring 33.8mm in diameter. It features unique specifications, similar to other Manufacture calibres, including a bidirectional self-winding rotor with a satin finish and sandblasted surface, and bridges with laser-engraved detailing.

The strap is inspired by TUDOR's archives, featuring a supple, gold-colored thread woven into a parachute fabric. This model is paired with a slate grey jacquard-woven strap with gold lines. A black nubuck leather strap is also available.
