Legendary watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has collaborated with renowned Italian erotic comic artist Milo Manara to release a captivating collection of erotic watches, featuring 10 illustrations reproduced on the dials.

The narrative unfolds a love story where a mermaid and a woman meet and fall in love in an imaginary sea that transcends time, eventually cherishing each other.

Drawing upon its 150 years of watchmaking knowledge and experience, Ulysse Nardin has recreated these illustrations on the dial using its micro-painting technique.

At Ulysse Nardin's headquarters, situated on a plateau surrounded by the Swiss mountains in Le Locle, skilled artisans meticulously paint Manara's artwork onto dials approximately one-tenth the size of the original watercolor paintings, a process that takes about 50 hours per piece.

From the deep blues of the ocean to the coral-colored barrier reefs, capturing the finest details of the water's ripples, the mermaid's lips, and the jewels,

All paintings are done by hand using brushes with a width equivalent to a single eyelash.

A coat of lacquer is applied over the acrylic paint to further enhance the beauty of the erotic scenes.

The automatic movement is powered by the in-house Caliber UN-320, a technology Ulysse Nardin has mastered over more than a decade, utilizing silicon.

To maximize the space for the artwork on the dial, only the hours and minutes are displayed, with discreet hands chosen to ensure the artwork remains the focal point of each watch.

The case diameter is a modest 40mm, and the strap is paired with dark blue alligator leather, chosen to complement the color palette specified by Manara.

The 10 special editions are planned as one polished stainless steel model and one 18K rose gold model per illustration, resulting in a precious collection of only 20 pieces worldwide.
