A fusion of advanced watchmaking techniques and hand-engraving

The Les Cabinotiers department at Vacheron Constantin, upholding a tradition of watchmaking excellence and a spirit of innovation since the 18th century, has created a new unique piece: the "Les Cabinotiers Grand Complication "Phoenix"".

This exceptional masterpiece, inspired by the phoenix—a symbol of immortality—features 15 complications. The intricate details of the phoenix's wings and its graceful movement are rendered through hand-engraving. The front and back of the watch display a perpetual calendar, equation of time, sunrise and sunset times, celestial chart, seasons, zodiac signs, moon phases and age, solstices (summer and winter), sidereal time (hours and minutes), and power reserve. The minute repeater and tourbillon, rounding out the 15 functions, lend this model a noble and majestic character.



The Les Cabinotiers department succeeded in miniaturizing all components to fit these functions within the limited space of the case. Notably, the watch features two dials, one on each side. The slate grey dials, adorned with 18K pink gold hands and indices, create a beautiful harmony while ensuring excellent legibility. Furthermore, the case and strap are embellished with delicate lines and a 'paunce' (bas-relief) engraving technique mastered by only a handful of artisans, enhancing the expression and three-dimensionality of the 18K pink gold case.

The case back of this special double-faced model is engraved with "Pièce Unique", "Les Cabinotiers", and "AC" (Atelier Cabinotiers). It comes with a luxurious Makassar ebony winding box and is produced as a unique piece worldwide.
