A Timepiece Merging Astronomy and Advanced Watchmaking

The "Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Tourbillon Sky Chart," released by Vacheron Constantin as a pre-SIHH 2019 novelty, represents a unique piece, one of a kind, born from the pursuit of the highest watchmaking standards and artistic craftsmanship. It masterfully integrates a tourbillon at 6 o'clock, a minute repeater, and a sky chart.

A hallmark of this technically advanced model is the sky chart on the case back, depicting the night sky as viewed from Geneva. The celestial chart, with its shimmering Milky Way and constellations, completes one rotation in 23 hours and 56 minutes, corresponding to sidereal time. Sidereal time, moon phase, and compass indications complete this magnificent vista, as if inviting one on a cosmic journey through time.



To power these intricate complications, Vacheron Constantin developed a special manual-winding movement. This movement, with a power reserve of approximately 58 hours, is based on Caliber 2755, renowned for its use in Vacheron Constantin's most advanced models, particularly those achieving extraordinary grand complications.

The 18K white gold case is paired with a black dial, further enhanced by 112 baguette-cut diamonds set into the bezel and lugs, creating a striking contrast. The baguette diamond indexes on the dial and the guilloché work at the center add refined accents.
