Since its dramatic revival in 1994, A. Lange & Söhne has consistently produced magnificent mechanical timepieces at its own pace, upholding the legacy of "Germany's finest watchmaking." The brand has garnered fervent support from watch enthusiasts. This year's most significant new release is the "Grand Complication," developed over seven years and representing the zenith of all models. This ultra-complicated wristwatch boasts a minute repeater that audibly indicates the time, along with grande and petite sonnerie functions that automatically chime the hours, a perpetual calendar with a moon phase display, and a split-seconds chronograph. Its appeal lies in its refined aesthetic, immediately recognizable as a Lange, and the meticulous attention to detail that permeates every aspect.
Furthermore, the addition of two new models to the "1815" line, renowned for its classic, pocket-watch-inspired design, is another highly anticipated development for fans. The limited edition "Grand Lange 1" models, with their iconic asymmetrical design, also demand attention, particularly for their unique approach to legibility in low light.
Additionally, the introduction of feminine, jewelry-adorned versions of the "Saxonia," known for its simple dial, will surely be welcome news for women.

GRAND COMPLICATION
Split-seconds function with a fusée-and-chain transmission
This special model for watch collectors, the pinnacle of the Maison, combines three complex mechanisms: a minute repeater with grande and petite sonnerie functions, a perpetual calendar that requires no correction until 2100 and includes a moon phase display, and a split-seconds chronograph. True to Lange's dedication to the chronograph function, the operation and display of the split-seconds chronograph are unique. Many enthusiasts are captivated by the movement of the fusée-and-chain transmission's blued-steel hand at 6 o'clock, which completes one rotation per second and accurately measures 1/5th of a second. The lustrous sheen of the enamel dial further enhances the allure of this artistic masterpiece.
Manual winding, pink gold case, 5-part enamel dial, crocodile strap, case diameter 50mm. Features a minute repeater with grande and petite sonnerie striking mechanism, a split-seconds chronograph with a 30-minute counter and fusée-chain transmission, and a perpetual calendar with a moon phase display. 1815 UP/DOWN

The dial indicates "AUF" (German for "UP") when the mainspring is fully wound and "AB" (German for "DOWN") when it is unwound, shown by a blued-steel hand. Lange's patented technology, which does not increase the movement's thickness, is also employed for the power reserve display.
